RAZORS 3 -  Venom 1

The Razors saved their best game for today. After an early Razors goal, the Venom came back to tie just before the half. The Razors scored their 3rd goal with lass than 4 minutes to play to seal the game. Great game by both teams. Well played. The Razors will face the Fury for the 10-13 Championship this Wednesday.

 FURY 3 -  Lightning 1 ( PK's)

Despite only having 6 kids, the Lightning played very tough and tied the game at 5-5 with less than 3 minutes in regulation. One of the Lightning players suffered a severe injury bringing Carl's team down to 5. At the discretion of the ref., the rest of regulation was terminated and both teams went to a Penalty Kick shoot out reflected in the score above. This was a well played game.

On a Rainy and Muddy Saturday Afternoon the Slashers took on The Red Bull. The Slashers got off to A great Start with  2 Goals from Nathan Price. The Red Bulls Fought Back Cutting The Lead to 2-1. Ryan Hershouer put the Slashers up 3-1 Scoring on a sweet Shot that sailed over the goal Keepers Head. The Red Bull keep Fighting Back and Cut the lead to 3-2. Nathan Price Struck Again Putting The Slashers up for Good. The Red Bull Never Quit and cut the lead to 4-3 with a goal by Greg. This was a total team effort on the Slashers part and everyone played great. Angelica Ortiz, Kate Matrin, Were Great on Defense. Sarah Clarkson, was all over the field for the Slashers. Taylor McCoy, Sal Virelli and Lauren Pluta all  had A great Game and got plenty of scoring Chances. Autumn McCoy Played her best Game of the Season Playing Both ends of the Field. Victoria Rivera and Jake Herbert were rock solid Again in the Goal stopping shoot after shoot and playing a well rounded game. Good Job Keepers.

                              Wow what a game to watch on a cold Monday Night where the Slashers Took on the Rockets.  The Rockets played tough the whole game leader after a penalty Score. The Slashers Keep fighting back with scoring chances and finally broke through with a goal from Nathan Price. The with Under a minute left the Slasher got a penalty Score from Nathan to win the Game. Jake Herbert and Victoria Rivera were rock solid in goal stopping chance after chance.Ryan Hershouer, Sarah Clarkson, Chris Mallo and Lauren Pluta were forces on offense. Angelica Ortiz was a force to be reckon with on Defense. Kate Martin, Salvatore Virelli, Taylor and Autum McCoy were forces on defense and Offense. Great Game by both Teams

Lightning 4 vs. Fury 3

A hard fought battle between the Fury and Lightning with a close score kept the fans on their feet the whole game. The Lightning
scored two and the Fury got one in the first quarter. After that it was one for one with the Lightning coming out on top for the win. Scoring for the Lightning was Rob(2),George and Josh. Defense was provided by the "BIG 3" Darrin, Tyler and Andrew. Midfielders Mike and Jordan were solid as a rock in their zone and Matt, Jared and Tank played all over on offense. Shane, Zack and Kyle each sent one into the net with the rest of team Fury playing a great game!!!

THE SLASHERRS GET THERE FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON

                           On a beautiful Saturday afternoon the Slashers grabbed a 6-3 victory. With 3 goals From Ryan Hershouer, 2 goals from Nathan Price and 1 from Angelica Ortiz. The Slashers were not to be denied there first Victory of season. Sal Virelli, Kate martin, Chris Mallo,Autumn McCOY, Jake Herbet, Taylor McCoy were rock solid on defense and offense moving the ball up field and giving there team plenty of scoring chances. Laura Pluta was a force to be reckoned with getting plenty of chances the score. Sarah Clarkson was excellent get chance after chance to score for he Slasher team. Victoria River was rock Solid in Goal Shutting the door and making great save after great save for her team. Great game by both teams

Fury 2- Razors 1 

Nice start to the season with 2 teams evenly matched. Kyle scored both goals for the Fury before Corey buried one on a free kick. It was an intense game and could have gone either way. Katey "K-Rod" Rodman (Fury) and Joe"Jo-Lo" Lipomi (Razors ) stood tall in the nets and had some great saves, the mud on their uniforms to prove it. Good job keepers!! This will be an interesting match up next time they meet.
